In order to keep up with the increasing importance of the academical research corresponding to the development of the technology, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Precision Engineering were brought together into our Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering. The department aims to study mechanical engineering as a key engineering discipline and thus to educate technical experts and researchers who are rich in creativity and flexible in thinking. The following are main subjects in our department: analysis and assessment of strength and organization of diverse materials from machines or organisms; kinetic analysis of behavior of liquid; transformation, transmission and utilization of diverse energies including heat; dynamics of mechanisms; methods of vehicle vibration analysis; designing technology aided by machine design and computers; diverse processing technologies; methods like shape measurement etc; designing methods of control systems like robots; mechatronics etc.
