- Calibration of electric field probes for measuring specific absorption rate (SAR), one of indexes of radio safety for mobile phones and other devices
- Discrimination of human movements such as flexion and extension of arms and legs by time-series variation of received signal strength (RSSI) of RFID tags.
With the development of electronic circuit technology, measurement technology, and simulation, there is a worldwide movement to discover the possibility of using electromagnetic waves in high-loss media such as seawater and living body. In our laboratory, we are conducting the following research:
