5 majors, 9 major programs

In the first year of study, students take classes to make the transition and gain a basic introduction to engineering. Following this, in the second year students choose one of five different fields of study to major in: mechanics, information and electronics, chemistry and materials, architecture, or interdisciplinary areas.
By gaining an overview of engineering in their first year of study, students are able to go on to study a more specialized field for their major from the second year onward.
