Junichi Hori


 Profile

Junichi Hori was born in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, in 1963. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in Information Engineering from Niigata University, Niigata, Japan, in 1986 and 1988, respectively. In 1988 he joined the staff of the Department of Information Engineering, Niigata University, as a research associate.  Since 1997, he has been an Associate Professor. In 1996 he received the Dr. Eng. in Computer Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan.  In 1999-2000, he was a Visiting Scholar in University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. Since 2012, he has been a Professor. His research interests include brain functional imaging, biomedical measurement, and non-stationary signal analysis.
