APPLIED MATERIALS SCIENCE

Fundamental knowledge on physics of electrons and atoms is indispensable for inventing completely new materials for electronics.
We are doing research and education of applied materials science from the viewpoint of condensed matter physics, in close cooperation with MATERIALS ENGINEERING group.

MATERIALS ENGINEERING

We develop novel materials with new functions through research and education concerning the control of substance surfaces and hybridization of materials.
Especially, our research targets environmentally compatible materials, biodegradable materials, and biomaterials. Materials evaluation is also indispensable for the practical use of developed materials.
Our research and education covers the entire process from development to evaluation and production.
